[Beta] A new Student writing environment: Google Docs, created by TrueMark | All the TrueMark features, but built on the Google Docs editor. We'll create and manage the document for you and your students. Best for research papers.
This is in beta. Please let us know if you have any feedback. |
|
Lockdown mode | Lockdown mode is now more reliable and easier to monitor. We've also added a setup guide you can share with students.
For best results, we recommend students work in Google Chrome. |
|
Managing student access | See more information about students as they work, and use the new Access dropdown to manage student access instead of the lock/unlock toggle. |
|
Disable Grammarly and other spell-checkers | Grammarly and browser-based spell-checkers are now automatically disabled, so students only get spelling and grammar support when you enable it.
| |
Sources are more powerful than ever | We support files up to 100MB, and students can now open most website sources directly within TrueMark. They should now have access to everything they need, all within the TrueMark editor. |
|
Rubric-aligned feedback without scoring | Choose how students see AI feedback on their work. You can decide whether students see feedback only, performance labels, or rubric scores. |

Features coming soon
Feature | Description |
Similar response detection | Get flags in the integrity report when a student’s writing is unusually similar to another student’s response. |
Typing anomaly improvements | Typing anomalies can help identify when a student may be transcribing from another source, such as ChatGPT on their phone. We’re improving these flags to give you clearer information about why specific sections were flagged. |
