There are two ways to grade a TrueMark assignment in Google Classroom:

  1. Within the Google Classroom speed grader

  2. Within the TrueMark speed grader

1. Within the Google Classroom speed grader

  • Use the Google Classroom speed grader. When you enter a grade on the TrueMark side, it should sync to your LMS. If it synced correctly, you'll see "Saved and synced to LMS". If you wait a couple seconds, the grade should refresh in the Google Classroom panel.

2. Within the TrueMark speed grader

  • Head to the assignment in TrueMark

  • In TrueMark: Choose the section you want to grade.

    • You'll be directed to the assignment page.

    • Click on a submission, and you'll be directed to the TrueMark Speed Grader.

  • When you enter a grade, it should sync to your LMS. If it synced correctly, you'll see "Saved and synced to LMS"

  • If you have multiple sections in your course: you can grade the next section either by heading back to the TrueMark Assignment Page and navigating to the next section.

Publishing grades

  • Before publishing grades, we recommend quickly reviewing your Canvas gradebook and TrueMark Assignment Page to ensure that all grades have synced properly.

  • To release the TrueMark Grade Report with your comments, you must click "Return Grade" in both Google Classroom and TrueMark. You can do this individually for each student or in bulk by returning to the TrueMark Assignment Page.
