Once your admin has turned on TrueMark in your Google Classroom Add-on, you can easily create and grade TrueMark assignments within Google Classroom.
If you can't access the TrueMark Add-On, you can follow this guide for the recommended Google Classroom workflow.
Step-by-step instructions for using the TrueMark Add-on:
[From Google Classroom] Create a new assignment and under "Add-ons", click "TrueMark".
If you do not see this, we may need to work with your admin to turn on the integration.
You should then be directed to TrueMark in a pop-up iframe.
Create a new assignment: Click "Create assignment" > fill in your assignment details > "Review & Assign" > Select all the classes > "Assign"
Link an existing assignment: If you have already created a TrueMark assignment. You can find the assignment > Click "..." > "Link to Google Classroom".
[From Google Classroom] Make sure to select all the classes you'd like to assign this to in Google Classroom as well > Hit "Assign"
🔥 You're done! Click the "TrueMark" assignment link in Google Classroom and see those submissions roll in
✅ Once published, students get a link to their TrueMark assignment editor in Google Classroom.
💯 All grades entered in TrueMark will sync back to your Schoology Google Classroom
Troubleshooting:
"I already created the TrueMark assignment in TrueMark"
Make sure the assignment isn't linked to an existing Google Classroom assignment.
Follow the step-by-step instructions above to create a Google Classroom assignment. You can then link your existing TrueMark assignment in step 2b -- you can find the existing assignment and select "Link to Google Classroom".
"I forgot to assign my assignment to multiple sections in TrueMark":
Edit the TrueMark assignment > Skip to "Assign" > Click "Assign to more classes"
"Something went wrong"
Option 1: You can delete the Google Classroom and TrueMark assignments and repeat the process again.

How students access and submit work
Access an assignment
Students can access a TrueMark assignment in two ways:
From Google Classroom: Open the assignment in Google Classroom and click the TrueMark link.
From TrueMark: Find and open the assignment directly in TrueMark.
Either option will take students to their writing environment, where they can complete their assignment.
Submitting work
When students are ready to submit, there are two steps:
Submit in TrueMark: Click Submit in the TrueMark writing environment. This submits the work to the teacher for grading.
Turn in on Google Classroom: Return to Google Classroom and click Turn in to mark the assignment as turned in there. We instruct students to do this after they submit in TrueMark.
Troubleshooting
If a student has trouble submitting their assignment:
We recommend they re-access the assignment through Google Classroom
They should return to Google Classroom, find the assignment, click the TrueMark link, and retry the submission.
As a teacher, you can also force-submit their work from the assignment dashboard.
This submits the work in TrueMark so that it can be graded and the grade can be passed back to Google Classroom. However, it does not mark the assignment as turned in in Google Classroom. The student will still need to click Turn in in Google Classroom.
