Grading Process

  1. Access Rubric-Based Grading

    • When you add a rubric, the system auto-populates comments and scores based on your rubric and each student's submission

    • Click into each criterion to view and edit these suggestions

    • Remember: You maintain complete control as the final grader—edit and adjust all scores and comments as needed

  2. Assign Final Scores

    • After reviewing the rubric sections, enter the final score at the bottom

    • The score should reflect the total points the assignment is worth

  3. Navigate Between Submissions

    • Click "Next Ungraded" in the bottom right of your screen to move to the next student submission

    • This ensures you don't miss any ungraded work

  4. Return All Grades at Once

    • Once you've added grades for all students, return to the assignment page

    • Click the "Return Grades" button to release all grades to students simultaneously
